Really lovely dress. The velvet is high quality and it’s fully lined as well so smooth, form fitting style. I ordered an 8 wondering if 10 would be better but so happy with the 8. Hits just above my knees. I’m 5.5 135 pds and the 8 is just what I wanted. Will be the perfect holiday dress while also being a great dress for any wintertime occasion. I know I’ll feel really well dressed in this for many years!I tried four different velvet dresses. this had the nicest fabric and the green is beautiful. It was a little too tight and the shoulders a little wide on me so a larger size would not have been the answer. It is also lined, a nice feature.Beautiful burgundy wine color. Listened to other reviewers and went one size larger. Fits great, other than a little shorter than I would prefer, about two inches above the knee. ( I am tall, 5'8" so should be longer on most people). I like this dress so well that I am ordering a second one in green. Also, the dress is fully lined. Great dress for the holidays!The dress is very pretty. The green is lovely for the holidays or anytime. Definitely order a size larger than you normally wear. The material is very nice, love the lining. Wearing this dress for my sons wedding.This is a fantastic dress. I usually wear a size 10, glad I ordered a size larger.
